When to go to Le Mans
And of course, the season that brings the city most afflux in visitors is summer. Things are busier in high season, but despite the crowds, summer in Le Mans
is lovely as much of everything moves outdoors.
Le Mans has an agreeable continental climate with the coldest months being January and December. Still, the average winter temperature in Le Mans is above zero. The warmest month is August, closely followed by July, when average temperatures are about 26ºC. Also, the rainiest month in Le Mans is April, although December’s amount of snowfall surpasses it. Generally, though, in usual year conditions, the city is welcoming.
You can also enjoy strolls on the old streets and take a peek at the houses and civilization signs both in spring and autumn when the evenings are mild and the mornings still shinny. This is also when most of the street events in Le Mans take place.
